We continue to suffer from a sad and sorry state where in footpaths across the country are not avaialble to pedestrians. While on main roads these have been taken over by vendors and merchandisers, with in colonies cars have taken them over. Commuting on foot to places like stations, markets, hospitals or any other community space has become very difficlut ans risky. People are forced to walm on the roads making them prone to falls and accidents.
While Governments focus on building economy, Quality of Life, which should be the end objective of any governance suffers.
